Germany will be the candidate to organize Euro 2024

The teutonic federation announced Friday that before March 3 will carry out the respective procedures before the UEFA, to carry out the continental competition. "This championship can be emblematic," said DFB president Reinhard Grindel.

Germany will include ten stages, still to be defined, in the submission of the candidacy. The choice of stadiums, according to a statement from the DFB, will be carried out through an "open and transparent process" for which Transparencia Internacional (TI) has requested cooperation.

"Euro 2014 can be a flagship project for all German football," said DFB president Reinhard Grindel, according to EFE.
